Service Charge
What it is, what it pays for, and how to pay it.
The service charge is a yearly contribution from homeowners towards looking after the shared parts of Hanwood Park, such as open spaces, play areas and the infrastructure that the council has not adopted.
It is different from council tax, which funds public services across a wider area. Your service charge is spent only on the Hanwood Park estate where you live.
